Our Workplan
Our workplan outlines the concrete steps and those responsible for achieving each of the core activities in HRSA’s planning grant program. Over this one-year period, our master and local consortia will work together to develop and strengthen the consortium, conduct a needs and gaps analysis, and develop strategic plans, sustainability plans, and workforce plans.

SAMHSA is accepting applications for Grants for the Benefit of Homeless Individuals (GBHI). The purpose of this program is to support the development and/or expansion of local implementation of a community infrastructure that integrates substance use disorder treatment, housing services, and other critical services for individuals (including youth) and families experiencing homelessness. SAMHSA plans to issue 13 grants of up to $400,000 per year for up to 5 years.

The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) is accepting applications for the Expansion of Practitioner Education (Prac-Ed) grant. The purpose of this program is to expand the integration of substance use disorder (SUD) education into the standard curriculum of relevant healthcare and health services education programs. SAMHSA plans to issue 10-20 grants of up to $250,000 per year for up to 2 years.
